An expanded and reimagined version of the 2019 publication by the same name, Rainbow Hash [Redux] features a selection of postcards by artists Drew Kahu‘āina Broderick and Lawrence Seward. The artists altered and circulated postcards between Hawaiʻi and New York throughout 2018, reclaiming the genre of “mail art” through the context of Hawai‘i as both postcard-perfect tropical paradise and an illegally occupied nation.

These postcards became the basis of an exhibition at Aupuni Space in 2019, Rainbow Hash, and are reproduced (at scale) for this publication. This expanded edition of Rainbow Hash also includes a loose leaf postcard by the artists, ready to be altered and mailed.
