Professor Pueo's Sovereignty Lesson is a mid-aged children's allegory book that may be read by parents or grandparents to encourage critical thinking about hte nature of oppressive government and how to resist it by asserting self-determination instead of passive obedience. 

Jon D. Olsen grew up in Maine and has a Masters in Philosophy from UH Mānoa. Throughout the mid-sixties, Jon was drawn to various anti-imperial efforts, including gradually, the Hawaiian effort to regaining full effective sovereignty, paying close attention to Hawaiian activists who had deep knowledge of the subject matter.
