Long-time Hawaiʻi resident Franco Salmoiraghi has been capturing the beauty of the Big Island of Hawaiʻi in photographs for more than a decade. Author Jocelyn Fujii has said of his work, "With an almost painfully keen intuition, he captures the spiritual essence of nature people, places and moments, each photograph a clear and reverent poem of all that cannot be said in words." He was a participating photographer in the highly successful photo book, "A Day in the Life of Hawaiʻi," and his photos hang in many galleries and private collections world-wide.
