Kumulipo offers a view of the world that is a work in progress where humans are taught to find balance between all things. In the first wā of Kumulipo this balance is often found in the dualism of life on the land and in the sea. 

The botanical deck includes 52 cards containing 26 images, plus a 7 card key and instructions.

The crustacean deck includes 30 cards containing 15 images plus instructions.

Game instructions include Go Fish, Concentration and Flash Cards.
