In 1994, after enduring 100 years of unlawful and prolonged occupation of our homelands by the United States, We, the surviving subjects of the Hawaiian Kingdom - began the task to peacefully free ourselves from the United States and reactivate our country, the Kindgom of the Hawaiian Islands, as a sovereign, independent, neutral nation.
