Aliʻiōlani Hale: A Sentinel in Time

A Sentinel In Time tells the story of one of the oldest government buildings in Hawaii. Since 1874, from monarchy to statehood, Aliiolani Hale has faithfully served the people of Hawaii. As a nation, a territory, and subsequently a state, Supreme Court rulings have been decided within its walls. Kings and queens have walked its halls. The building served as the capitol of the Kingdom of Hawaii and continues to be the home of the Hawaii State Supreme Court.
